Cima Una (Einserkofel) – Normal Route (III- 400m)

Cima Una, also known as Einserkofel or Einser in German, stands as the westernmost peak of the Sesto Sundial and serves as an excellent first climb for those aiming to conquer all the Sundial peaks.

Its brevity, moderate difficulty, and similar terrain make it an ideal introductory climb, serving as a test run for tackling higher Dolomite peaks like Croda dei Toni (Zwölfer in German) or Cima Undici (Elfer in German).

Despite its suitability for beginners, Cima Una, with its high alpine character, is also a well-kept secret as a single tour.

Given the long ascent, opting to stay overnight at either the Rifugio Comici or the Rifugio Pian di Cengia is advisable.
