Snowshoe hike to the Monte Arnese

The tour to the 2,550 meter high Hornischeck is one of the most spectacular snowshoe tours around Sesto. The hike leads to a panoramic peak on the Carnic ridge, from where you have a wonderful all-round view of the Großglockner group, the Hohe Tauern and, last but not least, the Sesto Dolomites with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

 

After an equipment and beakon check at the valley station of the Dreizinnen cable car, we take the gondola to the mountain station. From there the hike takes us over moderately steep slopes and mostly untracked snow to the summit. The exact choice of route will be adapted to the current avalanche situation by your mountain guide.
