Snowshoe Hike to the Picco di Vallandro

The Picco di Vallandro, with its steep north face, is a true delight for passionate mountaineers.

Our suggested route begins from the Prato Piazza parking lot (1,975 m), ascending along the southern slope, offering a splendid view of the surrounding peaks. Upon reaching the summit, the panorama is truly spectacular, with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo appearing as if in a dream. The Cristallo Group, the Croda Rossa d’Ampezzo, the Croda del Becco, and the Hohe Tauern contribute to a marvelous vision, crowning the landscape all around.
