Program

Day 1: Briefing and equipment check – gondola ride (until 16.00 hrs) to the rifugio Prati di Croda Rossa hut

Day 2: Ascent via the Anderter Alpe to the start of the via ferrata Strada degli Alpini – over rocky strips with 400m steep walls and scattered snowfields to the rifugio Comici hut

Day 3: Via the Rifugio Pian di Cengia over the secured rock bands of the Schartenweg to the Forcella dei Camosci, from where we climb the peak of the Monte Paterno (2.744m) – descent via the tunnels from the 1st World War to the rifugio Locatelli hut

Day 4: Torre di Toblin: Ascent via the former ladder of the Kaiserjaeger troops, airy heights are guaranteed – descent via the northeast ridge – hike through the Altenstein valley to Sesto
